We continue introducing the clothes care symbols that you often see on the label of your favorite item but donโt quite know what they mean. This one is about ironing.
If the care label iron symbol has no dots, it means your item can be ironed at any temperature as shown in the picture.
The more dots on the iron the higher the temperature can be applied.
โ 1 dot is for delicate materials such as silk or wool.
โ 2 dots is for synthetics, and
โ 3 dots is for linen and cotton.
Finally, if there is a cross over the iron symbol you should not iron the item.
